Susie Mae Randolph

Susie Mae Randolph, 81 of Portland, TN, passed quietly into the arms of her Savior on October 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Susie was born on January 21, 1941, in Leesburg, Florida, the daughter of Causey and Lelia Cockcroft. Susie married the love of her life, Wilson in 1959 and they traveled together hauling coal across the country. On many trips, they would go through Portland, Tennessee and loved it so much they settled here in 1964 and called it home.

Along with raising her family, she worked at Lawn Lights for over 30 years. Susie considered her greatest blessing as spending time and taking care of her family. She loved watching her great grandsons play baseball and to their teammates she was everyone's granny. She was an easygoing good-natured lady, whose grace and dignity was shown through everything she did. Her quiet presence will be forever missed by those who have been blessed to know her.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Gene W. Randolph (Rhonda) of Portland, TN, step-son Wilson E. Randolph, Jr. of Bradenton, FL, daughter Vi Wessel (Ralph) of Portland, TN, step-daughters, Ann Keen of Vidalia, GA, and Judy Williams (George) of Vidalia, GA, brother Robert Cockcroft, as well as 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Susie was predeceased in death by her husband of 31 years, Wilson, sons Donnie Randolph and Dale Randolph, stepdaughters Martha Tullis and Peggy Coons, sisters Merle Decker and Thelma Bretzlaff, brothers Holland Cockcroft and Butch Cockcroft.
