Stacy Overstreet

January 26, 1969 ~ November 19, 2017 (age 48) 48 Years Old

Mr. Stacy Overstreet, 48, passed away at his residence on November 19, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 26, 1969 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He was the son of C.D. Overstreet and Nancy Davenport Overstreet.

His early education was in Pascagoula. He later went on to be certified by Mille-Motte as a HVAC technician. He worked at Macys Logistics in Portland.

Stacy was known for being very laid back and easy to get along with. When he was at home, you would usually find him in a tank top and shorts.

On July 19, 1989; he married the love of his life, Treva. Stacy enjoyed life! He loved bowling and going to the movies. He also loved Rock & Roll music. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and is prize possession was a 1979 Mustang.

Stacy loved traveling and taking his wife on cruises. This was apparent by the fact that in three years, Stacy and Treva took five cruises. During these cruises they had the opportunity to visit Mexico which was one of his favorite destinations.

Left to cherish his memory is his high school sweetheart of 28 years, Treva Overstreet, his son, Kenneth Douglas Overstreet (Brenna), his daughter, Staci Elizabeth Overstreet Rush (Caleb), his grandchildren McKenize Elizabeth Overstreet , Addison Elizabeth Rush and his future grandchild.

Stacy’s memory will also be cherished by his parents; C.D. Overstreet and Nancy Davenport Overstreet and his sister Amanda Overstreet along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Stacy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Lou Belle Davenport and Cordell Austin Davenport and his paternal grandparents Wilma Overstreet and John Charles Overstreet. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Overstreet.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday November 25, 2017 at Portland Church of the Nazarene located at 409 South Russell Street, Portland, TN. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rich Cook, Officiating.
