Shannon Denning

Mrs. Shannon Denning of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Saturday March 31st, 2018.  

Shannon was born June 2, 1969 in Whitehouse TN. to the late Jesse Chastain and the late Janet Chastain.  

She was preceded in death by sisters Annette Chastain and Samantha Chastain  

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Mike Denning of Franklin, KY, her three children William Pedigo of Allen County KY, Shatana King (Brandon) of Franklin, KY,  Tristan Denning of Portland TN,  her 11 Grandchildren, Kloie, Payton, Gavin, Micha, Michael David, Kenzleigh, Makaylah, Brooklyn, J’Anna, Kambree and Keslee, her four brothers Jesse Chastain of Goodlettsville, Shane Chastain (Mary) of Franklin KY, Joey Chastain (Valerie) of  Fountain Run , KY and Scott Chastain (Sally), four sisters Janet Key (Mark) of Brownsville, KY, Valerie Kirby of  White House, TN, Juanita Eubanks (Freddie) of Franklin, KY and Lee Amons (Bubba) of Westmoreland, TN 

She was known as, MeMe to eleven grandchildren who were her entire world. , 

She was the planner of the family and always came bearing gifts. If asked to describe Shannon, most would say she lived life in the fast lane, always on the go, she was loud and made her presence known but most of all she loved you with every ounce of her soul, she would give you the shirt off her back and the last two dollars in her pocket because she always thought of everyone else before herself.  

Her light will never dim from our hearts. 

The Family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Byrums Chapel, 8878 Byrums Chapel Road, Portland, TN 3714 

Church & Chapel Funeral Service has been honored with Mrs. Denning’s arrangements.
