Robert Revell

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert Revell, aka Bob also known as “Oklahoma” of Franklin, KY on August 29, 2023, at the age of 67 years. 

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Susan; Sister Annelie Dion; His children: Laura and son in law Thomas O’Loughlin and Bobby and daughter in law Jennifer Revell; grandchildren: Rebecka (Jarred), Kathryn (Donovan), Connor, Trevor, Avery, Braeden, Austin and great grandson Liam Robert; Sister: Debbie Bradley.; as well as numerous loving friends and family. 

He was predeceased in death by his Parents Edward and Catherine Revell; siblings; Denise, Kevin, and Eddie John Jr. And most recent, his most favorite, “Tip”- Man’s best friend of 12 years. 

Born in Jersey City, NJ. Bob lived and worked in various places in his lifetime. Roofing, Welding, Construction, Industrial Machines, Designing Highway signs; you name it Bob did it. He moved to Texas as a teen, where he raised a family and worked as a supervisor for the TX highway department. After retiring from the TX highway department Bob and his wife Susan moved quite often, looking for the perfect place to settle down. Meeting numerous, wonderful people along the way. 18 years ago, they found peace and happiness in the small country town of Franklin, KY., where he worked for many years at Carastar, then on his own with his welding business. Retiring for the second time just a few short years ago. 

Bob loved fishing, welding, car shows, auctions, Trump, having a beer and hanging out with his friends, music (Elvis & Dean Martin) and going on a drive with the love of his life just to explore. There was always ice cream. 

Bob was always a call away to anyone in need. Always willing and able to help in any situation. He always found a solution to make someone’s life a little easier. He would always tell people; “I’ve got you Oklahoma” OR “We will get through it Oklahoma” ——Rest easy Oklahoma, we’ll take care of everything from here on out.

Bob has requested a private cremation and no service. However, there will be a small life celebration and toast to Bob, held at 3831 Clare Rd, Franklin KY 42134, on Saturday, September 9, 2023 1pm-3pm. In place of flowers, it was Bob’s wish to make contributions to his wife Susan Revell to help ease the burden of medical and final expenses.
