Melia "Danielle" (White) Schmidt

July 18, 1991 ~ September 17, 2022 (age 31) 31 Years Old

Obituary

A beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Melia Danielle Schmidt, 31 of Franklin, Kentucky left this world unexpectedly on September 17, 2022.  Melia was born on July 18, 1991, in Gallatin, Tennessee.  The daughter of the late Danny B. White and Sandye Darnell White.  “Danielle” as she was lovingly called by her family, was baptized at Emmanuel Baptist Church at the age of 12.  Her faith sustained her through many trials in life; however, she never lost her faith, nor her shining light.

She was a graduate of Portland High School.  After graduation, Melia became a stay-at-home mother and loved every minute of spending time with her children.  Melia returned to the workforce as a project coordinator at Law Enforcement Partners doing what she loved, helping people. She raised funds for hundreds of law enforcement agencies nationwide. Those funds were used for programs such as Shop with a Cop, K-9 programs, equipment needs, drug education and more.

Melia loved her children, family and friends. She had a special bond with her sisters and cousins.  When you remember Melia, you’ll remember a happy go lucky, smart, fiercely loyal, self-less individual.  She always put others first.

Melia was always smiling.  Her smile could wash away a thousand doubts, as sure as light up a room when she entered it. She thought so much of her motto “Never Look Back”, that she had it tattooed on her shoulder as a reminder for her to “Never Look Back”.  Melia considered her greatest blessing as spending time with and taking care of her children.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons “AJ” John Allen Schmidt, Gunner Rylan Lowe, “Mikey” Fred Michael Lowe, and Motley King Stinson, mother, Sandye Darnell White, her soulmate Matthew Kyle Stinson, her sisters Amanda Lynn Fields, Tiffany Costello and Mandi Evitts, aunts, Sheila Humphrey and Dena Vivian (Rick) as well as her Uncle Lennie Wayne Gant (Penny), former husband Allen Schmidt, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Danielle was preceded in death by her father, Danny B. White, her maternal grandfather Earl Wayne Gant, maternal grandmother Betty Jane Gant, her paternal grandfather James Earl White and paternal grandmother Mary Madeline White.

Church and Chapel Funeral Service, Portland, Tennessee is honored to assist Melia’s family with her arrangements.
