Lowrey Joseph Maceina

Lowery Joseph Maceina, 72 of Springfield, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 8, 2023. Lowery was born in Berwick, Pennsylvania on April 19, 1950, the son of the late Joseph and Naomi Maceina.

Lowery married the love of his life, Joan Polk Maceina and together raised 3 beautiful daughters. He was a fun-loving man who loved to tell jokes.

Lowery proudly served our Country in the Air Force where he and his family were able to visit different parts of the world most only dream of.   Lowery was a familiar face around Ascension St. Thomas Hospital as he worked in their medical records department for over 20 years.

Lowery also loved music and was a very gifted accordion player, singer and songwriter.  He enjoyed entertaining people with his musical talents.   

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 49 years, Joan, his daughters, Brandy Finch of Springfield, TN, Stephanie Maceina (Craig Wise) of Gallatin, TN and Holly Maceina of Gallatin, TN, sister Sheila Risley, along with grandchildren Amber Hoffman (Kerry), Brieann Finch, Josh Tuttle-Maceina (Lexi), Amanda Maceina, Korey Wise, Kelsie Wise and Connor Wise along with many other loving family and friends. 

Lowery was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Naomi Maceina.
