Evangelist Alvin Vernon Ownby, 68 went from labor to reward on Saturday, October 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Alvin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 2,1950 to Alvin Pace Ownby and Betty June Bogle Ownby.

A Homegoing Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at The Lord’s Sanctuary. The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 until Service time at 1:00pm.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela Ownby; daughter Amy Eddy (Shawn Phillips); a son Timothy Ownby (Samantha); Grandchildren Destiny Brayley and Penelope Ownsby; as well as other loved and cherished family and friends. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; Alvin Pace Ownby and Betty June Bogle Ownby; and a sister Kathleen June Porter.
