Dianna Marie Hatfield-Samuels

Dianna Marie Hatfield-Samuels 36 of Portland, TN went to her eternal rest on Monday, July 17, 2023. She was born on April 13, 1987 in Nashville, TN. Dianna was the daughter of Roger Lewis Hatfield, Sr. and Anita Rena Russell who survive.

Dianna was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her children were her life, she would go to any extent to protect them. Her laugh was very distinct, she had the biggest heart and such exquisite style that most would consider bougee. She didn't leave home without her hair and makeup being done! Braiding other people's hair was her knack. Her personality was witty, bubbly and vivacious, she loved music and dancing, especially "twerking". She had a free spirit, to know her was to love her!

Dianna will be deeply missed, we will remember her for the crazy, outgoing person that she was. She lived each day like it was her last. She is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts!

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, her husband, Delvin Samuels, her children, KeAndre Hatfield, Michael Hatfield, Jeremiah Samuels and Nala Samuels, her sisters, Kristy Stephens, and Crystal Hatfield (Chris Holcombe) and her brother, Roger Hatfield, Jr along with many numerous family members and friends.

Dianna was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Annie Russell and her paternal grandparents, Valentine and Wilhelmina Hatfield.

Funeral service for Mrs. Samuels will be on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Oasis Seventh Day Adventist Church with visitation on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 pm.
