Annie Ruth Petty

Annie Ruth Petty, 88 went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 12, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Annie born to Bud Russell and Le La Mai Turner on July 1, 1931; as one of their 9 children. She was a life-long resident of Portland. She married the love of her life, Gar Petty, Jr. and celebrated 50 years of marriage shortly before he passed away on January 15, 2000. They raised four wonderful children.  

Annie had the most loving personality, never meeting a stranger which was reflected in her work life at Globe Furniture, where she worked for 30 years.  

She was preceded in death by her husband; Gar Petty, Jr. her parents, Bud Russell and Le La Mai Turner; her daughter, Carolyn Petty White, also preceding her in death were her brothers; Raymond Russell, Talmage Russell, Carl Russell, Floyd Russell, Orville Russell, Paul Russell, James Russell and her sister, Betty Russell. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters Judy Graef and Jackie Petty and her son Gary Petty. Grandchildren Chasity Vida (John), Francesca Stanko (James), and Marci Booker and her Great Grandson, Brandon Lee Vida.
